In southern Morocco, the word "mida" means table. These bread baskets (midounas) take their name from here to name these baskets that are used on the tables in the manner of a fruit bowl, bread basket or simply to keep the table collected.
They are often an extra income for families in rural areas, who sell them in the souks weekly. They are made with palm leaf, have a rustic finish and the measurements are approximate. A distinctly Moroccan rustic detail.
Material: palm leaf.
Measurements: 45-48 cm in diameter x 7-8 cm high (approx.).
